• Warren is disowned by his father.
• Jean decides to drive across country to go to 'college' in California.
• The road trip begins.
• They pick up Scott Summers in Nebraska.
• They arrive in Santa Monica, and break into an abandoned hotel.

• The Angel starts making regular appearances at a club called Inferno in Santa Monica.

• Warren meets Alison Blaire, and after not-saving her ass in an alleyway, strikes up a friendship with her.
• Ali moves into the hotel.
• Jean beats Logan at a game of pool.
• Logan gets into a bar fight over her and reveals his healing factor. She takes him back to the hotel.
• Marie-Ange Colbert moves into the hotel.

• Logan moves into the hotel.
• Tessa Niles shows up at the hotel and moves in.
• Warren becomes manager of Inferno.
• Hank McCoy, Myles Alfred and Morgan Vigneaux move into the hotel.

• It's Christmas. More people move into the hotel.
• Warren hosts the biggest New Years' party at Inferno.

• Warren and Tessa start their plans for nightclub domination.
• Ali disappears from the hotel all together, though is occasionally seen at Inferno.

• Warren discovers Ali's moved in with her so-called manager and is hooked on cocaine, though not by choice.
• Arrivals: Angelo Espinosa

• Warren and Tessa make their move, blackmailing Warren's boss and destroying him and his business partners as they do. Ali's 'manager' is among them.

• Reverend Stryker starts to appear on the Santa Monica streets, raving about genetic freaks.
• The owner of Paradise Hotel decides he wants to sell up.

• Warren's new corporation, Vita Nova Inc., buys Paradise Hotel thanks to a trustfund his mother signed over to him, some judicious money shuffling by Tessa and donations from other hotel residents.
• Arrivals: Rahne Sinclair.

• Depatures: Logan.

• Reverend Stryker and a group of homeless people he recruited attack the hotel. While they don't cause a lot of damage to the property, the fights with the residents are a lot more serious. There are a couple of hospitalisations.

• Tabby Smith is nearly beaten to death by her step-father for being a freak. When she's released from hospital, she runs away to California, taken in by the hotel.

• The first mercy mission for Paradise Hotel. Jamie Madrox is retrieved from a farm in Kansas, where he'd been left to fend for himself after his parents died in an accident.

• They celebrate their two-year anniversary at the hotel by finally getting the kitchen up and running.
• Hope Abbott, Mark Sheppard move into the hotel.

• Reverend Stryker re-appears on the streets of Santa Monica after being absent for a year.

• Inferno is raided by the police looking for drugs. They find nothing more than a lot of pixi stix.
• Alison Blaire starts performing at Inferno again.
• Arrivals: Alison Blaire, Jean-Paul Beaubier.

• Tessa starts getting creepy emails at email addresses no one should know about.
• Forge, Jared Corbo move into the hotel.

• The hotel is attacked again by Stryker. This time his group of followers are a little more dangerous, and they succeed in destroying the dining room and rooms for five floors above that. Several residents are severely injured, including Marie-Ange Colbert.

• Repairs begin on the damaged wing of the hotel.
• Megan Gwynn lands in the hotel.

• Warren tells the doctors to start the series of surgeries Marie-Ange will need to return to full health.
• Arrivals: Walter Langkowski, Petra Kristensen.

• Inferno is raided again.
• Arrivals: Remy LeBeau.

• A fight breaks out in the halls of Samohi between Terry Cassidy and Lorna Dane, bringing the mutant phenomena into the open at the high school.

• Tessa is kidnapped by Bogan, rescued by Warren, Maddy, Remy, Rogue and Wade. They pick up Betsy Braddock as they do.
• Jean Grey discovers she's being messed with by Jason Wyngarde when Logan comes to rescue her.
• Arrivals: Betsy Braddock, Alex Power, Julie Power, Heather Cameron, John Allerdyce, Laura Kinney.
• Plots: Acts of Disclosure, Schism.

• Art's conversations with Julio Richter and Alison Blaire lead him and Ric to mount an operation to blow the lid on Mojo's operation - and they do a little more than that, the resulting earthquake bringing the roof down around Mojo's ear and ending his operation.
• Cain Marko is hired by Warren to replace Mojo as Inferno's head of security.
• A large red dragon is seen flying over the UCLA campus.
• Terry is suspended from school after another fight using her powers on campus.
• Arrivals: Art Centino, Julio Richter, Shatterstar, Tatiana Caban, Evangeline Whedon, Calvin Rankin.
• Plots: Acts of Disclosure, The First Rule of Fight Club...

• Warren Worthington Jnr dies, prompting Warren to return to New York for the funeral.
• Jamie and Terry accompany Petra on a trip to New York. Petra lays some ghosts to rest, while Jamie and Terry get caught up with a group of homeless mutant thieves.
• Plots: A Death in the Family, I Heart New York.

• Through the machinations of Cameron Hodge and Candy Southern, Warren's status as a mutant is made public, and he confirms it at an impromptu news conference after he saved an old woman and her granddaughter from a fire.
• When terrorists attack the labs where their father works, it's the Power siblings to the rescue.
• When Manuel discovers Angelica's crush on Wade, he uses the crush in a deadly game of revenge.
• Noriko is bullied after a power fluctuation, and it's Morgan and Sally to the rescue.
• Plots: Acts of Disclosure, A Death in the Family, Power Play, Fatal Attraction, High School Blues.

• Tom Cassidy and Cain Marko discover the success behind Inferno's drug trade, and bully Garrett into cutting the drugs to make more of a profit. As a result, Tabby and Kiden OD thanks to the flucuating drug levels.
• Lorna is attacked in the school halls for being a mutant, and she deflects the crowd by claiming it was all Cal.
• After this, the Samohi adminstration organise a forum to discuss the mutant issue, at which Professor Charles Xavier and Hank McCoy speak.
• Jean Grey goes nuclear on the UCLA campus, and is brought down to earth by Rogue and Logan.
• After discovering her daughter's meddling with magic beyond her ken, Margali Szardos kidnaps Illyana Rasputin to show her daughter how it's done - and it's Piotr Rasputin and Megan Gwynn to the rescue.

• Pete Wisdom and Aurora Beaubier get to the bottom of Tabby's OD, forcing Cain and Tom to rethink their business arrangement with Garrett.
• The Church of Enlightenment announces their god has appeared - the Phoenix.
• Plot: Enlightenment, We Own The Night.

• The sinister side of the Church is revealed - one of their pastors, John Sublime has been kidnapping mutants and attempting to harvest their organs and pass powers onto his followers. After he kidnapped several hotel residents, they get involved, and the results is somewhat catastrophic.
• Ric is kidnapped by the Right, a secretive anti-mutant organisation. They torture him until he causes a catastrophic earthquake in California, in an attempt to force people to see how dangerous mutants can be.
• Deaths: A dupe of Jamie Madrox dies at the hands of Sublime's surgeon.
• Plot: Enlightenment, Goodbye Santa Monica.

• For three days, the residents of the hotel find themselves without powers.
• Lila and Gaia take a holiday into space, during which Gaia discovers the truth behind her 'rescue'.
• With their powers combined, the Wyngarde siblings and Manuel de la Rocha put the residents of the hotel into a coma for a week, sending them to dream of fairytale lives. They are thwarted through the combined efforts of Jean-Paul, Stephen, Madeline and Vanessa.
• Morgan's powers go crazy, leading the hotel to appear to be haunted and Morgan possessed.
• Plot: Power Outage, Lost in Space, A Sorta Fairytale, Things That Go Bump.
